This Elderberry syrup is yummy! Making it takes time and patience but it's 100% worth it. It's extra potent because fresh Elderberries were extracted in three different ways (using honey, alcohol, and water), then blended together.
This method preserves way more of the active constituents than just using heat based water extraction. We also added Elderflower, Reishi (slowly decocted), and Ginger into the mix.
Because of its strength, you don't need to take large doses, a little at a time is perfect. Many people take Elderberry syrup daily as a preventative or at the first signs of illness to help shorten the duration. Put it on your pancakes, in your yogurt, or diluted in sparkling water.
The amount of alcohol in the syrup is low, but if you like, you can add hot water to the syrup which will evaporate most of the alcohol. This is a 4oz bottle.
