TENDER HEART HAWTHORN + ROSE ELIXIR
Oh Hawthorn. Known as a protector of the physical and emotional heart, Hawthorn is the star of this elixir. It contains not only Hawthorn berries (they’re not actually berries but pomes, just like apples), but also Hawthorn flowers. I’ve also added my special Rose petal tincture, as Rose is another age-old symbol and potent medicine for the heart.
You could think of this elixir as medicine for troubled times, for grief, for living in the Anthropocene. It tastes very good too: warm, sweet, and fragrant thanks to Cinnamon, Cardamom, and Vanilla bean.
Ingredients: Fresh Hawthorn berries*, Fresh Rose Petals*, with organic Cinnamon, Cardamom, and Vanilla Bean. Organic Honey, Brandy. *ethically gathered
