Echinacea is considered one of the best plants to help support a strong immune-system and fight off infection and illness. This is a ‘whole plant’ tincture. The leaves, buds, flowers, and roots were harvested from the Echinacea in the Hildegarden over the span of the growing season.
Echinacea may cause temporary numbing and tingling on the tongue. Caused by alkylamides, this tingling effect means that you hold a quality product in your hands.
I recommend ½ teaspoon every hour at the first signs of an infection, cold or flu. Taking large amounts of Echinacea for any length of time is not recommended or needed. Echinacea is most effective if taken within the first 24 hours of not feeling well.
Sometimes root tinctures like this one will get a cloudy appearance. This is good news! What you are seeing is Inulin, a healthy starch and prebiotic. Shake your bottle well before using to get the added benefit of the Inulin supporting a healthy gut.
Ingredients: Fresh Echinacea leaves, buds, flowers, and root. Brandy. Supplemented with organically cultivated dry root.
